  The art of narration selection, building on the favoured perspective and creating acceptance happens not just in the media, the UN platform but also within institutions supposed to deliver justice, this is clearly seen in many instances with the United States. Cuba, a live case study of US Hegemony in the Americas, with the goal of genocide of nations?

  In recent days the media has been focusing on the US President threatening to “Take over Cuba”. He elaborated further according to him, “I can take it, make it and do whatever I want with it”. It is strange to hear the US President speak about another sovereign country in this manner, evidently President Trump seems to understand sovereignty only in terms of the US and sees no relevance of it to its neighbors, as clearly illustrated in case of Venezuela. Americans from his party tend to brush it aside by saying that's his style, but that’s exactly the point, that can’t be his style as a President of the US or any other country, a verbal threat from a person in power cannot be condoned or legitimatized as part of international relationship.
