  Yesterday, Israel bombed and killed five individuals in Beirut and injured 28 individuals, Israel justified it as targeted killing, as it killed Hezbollah leader. Israel called it a Precision strike. Interestingly, DW news calls the bombing and killing of Lebanese in South Lebanon as “Israel has carried out a strike in Lebanon”. This is one small instance on how Western media facilitates Genocidal Impunity of Israel and Israelis. A strike as per dictionary means “hit forcibly and deliberately with one’s hand or a weapon or other implement. Yes, strike is used as military term when there is a war, and it means a sudden attack typically a military one. But Israel has a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah and Lebanon since November 2024. There is no war happening between Israel and Lebanon.
