United Nations a union of Nations, looks good on paper or as a side show for raising funds, but it does not wipe way the silent screams that fills the rubble of Gaza, or the shock of massacre of school children in Iran, or the planned attack through pager, master minded to kill at will, irrespective of the role of chance that determines who takes the fall.  For the United Nations nothing changed, it turned a page and carried on… At the best a small tap on knuckle of Israel, the pressure tempered with fear of the lord and master’s response the United States, a so-called democracy that uses legal loop holes to support with pride a genocide, a country where Judiciary and Constitution lie silent at the feet of Presidential Executive Orders, scared to even flinch when acknowledging the reality of their plight.   In recent days the media has been focusing on the US President threatening to “Take over Cuba”. He elaborated further according to him, “I can take it, make it and do whatever I want with it”. It is strange to hear the US President speak about another sovereign country in this manner, evidently President Trump seems to understand sovereignty only in terms of the US and sees no relevance of it to its neighbors, as clearly illustrated in case of Venezuela. Americans from his party tend to brush it aside by saying that's his style, but that’s exactly the point, that can’t be his style as a President of the US or any other country, a verbal threat from a person in power cannot be condoned or legitimatized as part of international relationship.   This note is a short version of a detailed paper I am writing; I am putting out this post because US has broken all rules of law and ethics. Instead of the US, the nation, trying to rein in their President, the SOCTUS and Congress are being silent and complicit with the crimes of US President as he abuses the privileges of the oval office. The story line created by US to ensure they can attack Venezuela a sovereign nation did not start now, but was put in process years ago facilitated by earlier US Presidents, it became obvious when President Chavez nationalised oil industry and focused on reducing disparity within the nation and ensuring real governance of Venezuela for its people. Unlike the governments that were admired by US, for their focus was US priorities, its oil companies, aspirations of Venezuelan elite and at the best the middle class.
