While the genocide has a strong link between Jewish community, Adolf Hitler and Nazi regime, this is not the whole truth. Genocide has been documented in other settings but Hitler's genocidal craze was the most well documented one and it's scale difficult to accept. Hitler did not target only members in the Jewish community, anyone who questioned or disagreed with his world view was marked as a target. He also thought it was acceptable to silence all those who has characteristics that he considered unacceptable be it mental illness, those who were gay or differentially abled. It won't be surprising that if Hitler was alive today, his pet project set for full scale expansion would be that creates "designer kids" with no flaws as per current knowledge.
