Israel is not a great military power but a diabolic coward, that thrives in darkness!

The double standards of Western media is very clear when they speak with awe for Israel’s attack on Iran, Professionals interviewed vie with each other to praise Israel that is committing genocide. Since, when has a bully that hides in darkness or behind domes and attacks with total impunity, become the symbol of bravery? Is West also redefining bravery to please the Israel’s sentiments or is it part of Military and Tech industry marketing strategy the only industries benefitting from this bloodbath.

Why Israel is a coward?

1.      The area of Israel is around 22,770 square Km (Wikipedia figures) and for comparison India is 3.287 million square Km, China 9.597 million square Km, and US is 9.867 square Km. The Iron dome air defence system can over 75 to 250 square Kms, this is a single missile battery which consists of a radar unit, missile control unit and several launchers, all located at the same site. Though largely land based it is planned to cover sea area as well in future.

2.      Israel has four borders, the largest areas being with Jordan and Egypt, which includes border with part of Gaza, and there is the border with Palestine Gaza and Lebanon (Blue line). The border area with Gaza is 365 square Km, with Lebanon the Blue line is 150 Square Km long, with Egypt the length of border is 206 square Km, and with Jordan it is 482 square Km.

3.      Right now, the Iron dome protects Israel from Gaza border and Lebanon border. Isarel’s next move is to opt for laser technology for its dome but the technology is not reliable during cloudy weather conditions.

4.      For protection from borders with Egypt and Jordan, it depends on Normalisation strategy put in place by US for protection of Israel basically a carrot and stick approach that is usually used by US for itself and its ally Israel. In the absence of normalization strategy Israel would not be bombing its neighbours with Impunity, for it can not afford to protect itself from all sides.

5.      It is when Israel cannot really protect itself, the US President Donald Trump has come up with smart idea to Protect US with an area of 9.867 million Square Km after cutting Federal Services for the vulnerable groups across US. The entire net worth of US may not be sufficient protect the entire area of US, selective protection would asserting discrimination in governance.

6.      The Iron dome is not a one-time investment, Israel spent around USD 2.6 billion on its Iron dome from 2011 to 2021, when it was not intercepting many missiles, which affects the expenditure on battery for Iron dome. Each battery cost 50 million USD, each interception costs USD 100,000 to 150,000. Each battery has 20 interceptors so at a time when activated it would cost around USD 2 to 3 million. The huge number of interceptions would have been used during genocide in Gaza and now with attack on Iran and subsequent Iran’s retaliation. The economic impact on Israel is huge and so will it be on US for without US, Israel would not be bombing anyone. D.O.G.E no evaluation about US complicity in Genocide along with Israel.

7.      Besides, the Iron dome, Israel bombs all neighbours and then hides within bomb shelters. As per 1951 civil defence law all homes, residential buildings are required to have bomb shelters. Each shelter costs around USD 30,000 to 56,000. An attitude probably in line with Switzerland that has 370,000 nuclear bunkers and its population is 8.89 million. Considering the shelters needed for Israel would one fourth of Switzerland, considering Israel’s population of 2 million then required shelters would be 84,000 and cost 4,70 million without maintenance through the years.

8.      Israel is a country that lives in total fear, and its cost of governance centres around it. It keeps attacking neighbours based on fear and pre-emptive strikes and keeps spending on defence and attack. It is an unsustainable model of governance there is no space for democratic principles of freedom, equality, or justice.

9.      Western media, military analysts and India media and its analysts are all in awe for Israel they say what precision, hardly any strikes, Israel is a master strategist and they hope the world will stand up and applaud them. This is what happens, and this media stunt is the greatest publicity for military industries in Israel and US with limited media expenditure.

10.   It seems a pattern that after Israel attacks a country and massacres its population then Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and at times others too will come and declare on the media that it is for liberating the citizens of Palestine or Iran that the country or area was bombed and their best human resource decimated along with other citizens. The most sickening part is to watch the admiration of TV channel anchors and the respect they show for Netanyahu who has called for entire annihilation of Palestinian population or for “Amalek”.

11.   Israel is neither moral, brave or courageous. It often uses diversion strategy as in here when US President kept speaking about a peaceful deal regarding nuclear energy. The irony is that America which from 1945 has got into conflict with over 40 countries, ensured sanctions on many, which has most abused right to pre-emptive strike sits and takes training class for Iran on safety of nuclear energy and decides on whether they can have the right to create nuclear energy. US, the country and its Presidents who believe Israel’s security is so important that even a genocide is a legitimate response.

12.   Along with diversion strategy on Iran, it retained the surprise element in its war strategy and kept it simple. Neither of the latter two, surprise element and keeping it simple; is possible without extensive spying activity. Which meant Israel set up an extensive system of lies, infiltrated the society and lay low for years, all the while Israelis were diabolically planning for the best opportunity. This was the same with the pager incident in Iran, or the present targeted killing of intelligentsia and military experts.

13.   Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is actively working towards moral ascendancy war strategy, a thorough make over after the continuous genocide and its impact of Israel’s image. Now Israel’s Prime Minister seeks to state the Israeli army is moral, trained and capable; with the set humane goal of liberating citizens of other nations. Israel is able to carry out its war strategies because it is immoral and amoral. Israel’s forces are trained but to fight from a distance with use of AI, it is not at all at its best when soldiers are on the ground. Israeli forces  use dehumanization as a strategy, indicating its capabilities may be different from that need for being part of an army.

14.  Israel is not a great military power it is cowardly aggressor that is permanently on aggression mode. Its model for defence and attack are totally and completely unsustainable.

15.  It is time the countries in Middle East and others in the region realized Normalization strategy of Israel and US is not for peace but to ensure Israel is going to remain the aggressor in the region in perpetuity.

Peace can come when this normalisation strategy ends and reality of accountability sets in within the mind of Israeli and Israel’s structure and institutions.

The game of deception has to stop!

Peace, Security & Fourth Industry, Technology—impact on Us and Our Becoming

Its complexity, and simplicity is reflected in our restricted definition of peace as an absence of war/violence, even though we sense it is far beyond that.    Peace is a concept that exists beyond the boundaries of empirical reality, but we seek it within the realms of empirical reality, where power has the final say. We conceive it as a static state, where a world view palatable to u...

The President of US stands accused of Genocidal intent?

Mr.President Trump, after hinting at his intent for days, now allegedly has stated loud and clear he would like to own another sovereign state, Palestine and wants to remove the entire population of Palestinians from there. For which he is bidding with nations in the middle east, almost creating a new form of slave trade.  The President of US standa accused of:  a) Clearly expressed Genocidal intent, expressed to entire world totally in free will, standing in a position of power as the greatest spender on Military industry.  2. As specified in Article two of genocide convention he state he wants to destroy an entire nation by erasing its existence and using organised crime methods for the same.  3.Totally against the UN charter Article 2 (4) for it "prohibits use of force (which could be physical and psychological) and calls on all Members to respect the Sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of other states.  4. Whether US and Israel want...

Living in the Margins

Molly Charles (1) Margin, a term familiar from tender age; notebooks with clear cut margins to delineate the main body of text, define it. The margins give it definite shape, a practice that continues into the virtual world. Among humans, it is these margins that give identity to the large majority we term normal. The often, porous boundaries offer a chance for individuals to slip through and slip back into either ‘normal’ or ‘marginal’ spaces. The decision to identify with marginal groups or positions can be a conscious one as with (gender identity, drug use), enforced as in (mental health, racial and caste based discrimination) and accidental for (drug use, stigmatized diseases). In certain instances, as with mental health, some individuals may find their being part of marginal groups a permanent reality, in most other instances individuals do move in and out of marginal groups, as a survival strategy to deal with marginalization. Even when physical spaces merge, with an emph...
