Social Security a Ponzi Scheme? Then how come National debt- borrows from it, US President Donald Trump and Mr. Elon Musk?

 Mr. Elon Musk, is in charge for assessing Federal Services, this has been indicated by US President Donald Trump and Mr. Elon Musk reflects the same through his tweets and posts, for analysis of its content will indicate only a person in charge can make those allegations he made and give orders to staff at Federal Services. Even when Mr. Musk is informed on Social Security details yet he indicated the Social Security is like a Ponzi Scheme. Then my question to US President Donald Trump and Mr. Musk is that how come the US government through its national debt as part intragovernmental debt owes Social Security more than 2 trillion dollars?

a)      Ponzi Scheme?

According to data available online for December 2023, the 34 trillion dollars of National debt of United States can be broken down to 27 trillion (79%) debts held by Public, here Public includes investors outside Federal Government, they are individuals, corporations, the Federal Reserve, foreign State and local governments. The remaining 7 trillion (21 percent) was held by intergovernmental debt, which is transfer from one part of government to another, the largest holder of intragovernmental debt is the Social Security Old-Age and Survivors Insurance Trust Fund, which holds $2.6 Trillion or 38 percent of intra governmental debt. Other accounts holding such debt include retirement funds for federal employees, Medicare Hospital Insurance Trust Fund and the Highway Trust Fund.

The breakup of national debt  under intragovernmental debt are: Social Security Old age and Survivors Insurance Trust Fund $ 2,641; Federal Employee Retirement Fund $1,053; Medicare Hospital Insurance Trust Fund $209 billion; Medicare Supplement Medical Insurance Trust Fund 187; Social Security Disability Insurance Trust Fund $147; Highway Trust Fund $113; Federal Housing Administration $78; Deposit Insurance Trust Fund $24; Other $2,892. If the national debt included money borrowed from all these headings, how can Federal Services be such a Fraud or Social Security just a Ponzi Scheme.

What was the idea of false claims of fraud detection, for D.O.G.E actions and plans indicated there is no substance in the scale of accusation. Neither US President Donald Trump nor Mr. Elon Musk are naive enough to consider that creating chaos, discontinuing jobs especially those who can give qualitative input for assessment is the way to carry out evaluation/assessment. Hence their actions indicate the goal was to use fear, power and unconstitutional claim that US Presidents has free hand both administratively and legally to define his power, its limit and capacity to curtail powers of other structures of governance; there by dismantling different aspects of Federal services and filling professionals and public with so much fear that they stop thinking and taking action. Was the gamble, the chaos and disbursed staff would give a gap to push in tech-based governance with the idea that private tech agencies would manage governance in a more professional way and greater use of AI would cut fraud and reduce resources needed which in turn would create surplus or saving and reduce deficit.

My curiosity is what would happen to all the debts the American government owes the various funds or agencies within the heading intragovernmental debt; would it have converted to initial seed money for tech-based agencies to digitize the Federal Services and Create AI systems of Governance?

Have the perception, am being unfair not really, look at how experts talk about debt reduction, they state debts are caused by predictable structural factors: the aging baby-boom generation, rising health care costs, higher interest rates, and a tax system that does not bring in enough money to pay for what the government has promised its citizens. Why is that it seems all the options are with regard to holding the general population and not the industries or the elite accountable? Why is tax the only option to hold the industries and elite accountable and when they go into loss, they have option to declare bankruptcy and get away from any accountability.

Countries take many measures to support industries, provide subsidies on land, energy, infrastructure, construction of communications systems be it road or cyber options. During initial stages seed money is given as loan or grant with pride and hope but with hardly any accountability. The question is why no accountability at least after these ventures become a success. Why are elite and industries subsidized eternally or taxes are collected and given back to corporate itself. Shouldn’t the subsidizes on resources provided by society be systematically reduced. This will become relevant issue when Artificial Intelligence and Robotics will play a greater and thereby reduce need for human agent or work force drastically.

President of United States and Mr. Elon Musk think about fraud beyond Federal Services and working class, fraud by the industries and corporation be it through free ride with resources, with increased use of AI the energy need would be far more than what is slated for at present, the increased scope for slave like ecosystems evolving with workers and family living under surveillance of corporation it would be worse than what happened earlier, the lack of accountability to environmental damage caused and society having to foot the bill, the growing use of crypto currency and for enclosed eco-systems of industrialists they may evolve their own crypto currency on which society has no control or accountability. Take the example of TrumpCoin (TRUMP) while its value has crashed but US. President Donald Trump has only made profit, for probably these coins are way to unaccounted wealth including scope for laundering money and even Anti-Money Laundering Act 2020 would have limited impact. Isn’t there a serious need to look at fraud from the angle of industries, corporations and elite. Till date no country has looked at the percentage of country deficit that arises from industries or corporation fraud and lack of accountability.

b)     Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness

US President Mr. Donald Trump and Mr. Elon Musk have not lost any opportunity to poke fun at the concept and indicate it is some how responsible for national debt. Here diversity refers to differences in identity, perspective, skill and style.  Equity focuses on ensuring fair and just practices and policies that address systemic inequalities and provide individuals with resources and opportunities they need to succeed. Inclusion creates an environment where everyone feels welcomed, respected and valued, and where their contributions are actively sought and utilized. While this framework is often used within organizations, for it to be relevant there is need for it to be a way of life. This approach evolved as way to address discrimination based on identity or disability.

If the term DEI is unacceptable to President Donald Trump and Mr. Elon Musk, then why the interest and support for Neuralink Corp. For the focus is to create inclusiveness for quadriplegics and give scope for them to feel a sense of independence and connectivity with the world. The question is why spending of resources for Neuralink Corp initiatives is fine and government approval granted at the same time both President Donald Trump and Mr. Elon Musk has such negative attitude towards the concept of DEI and other forms of disability and or relevant initiatives for empowerment. There is a contradiction.

Is it possible that interest in addressing issues of quadriplegics is not out of desire for inclusivity or concern about diversity but rather it is part of experimentation to get raw data on direct interaction between machine and human intelligence. An exploration that would benefit creation of gadgets to augment human capacity and skills. Just a question.

 It is sad the President of United States and the richest man on earth thinks it is their moral duty to dismantle Federal services that largely address concerns of the vulnerable, the billionaires who encircle the billionaire President Donald Trump are subsidized for life, both their industries/corporation and personally.

So, distant are the billionaires from every day reality of life, that after destroying lives of ordinary people, calling them fraudulent after decades in service, abrupt snatching of their survival means; the billionaires express surprise at expression of negativism or anger. Mr. Elon Musk you are calling a person who can get Medicaid only if is his income is below $15,060 a fraud among other thing, the amount which might be less than spare change for you and the US President. US President Donald Trump should also know that as the cut off is income below $15,060 to be eligible for Medicaid, the person may have to work at rate below the legal minimum wages per hour in United States.

This is what US President means when he says “Make America Great Again”.
