Members of European Council Sanctifies Israel’s Genocide via European Broadcasting Union and Eurovision! Genocide is permitted, if carried out by Israeli Jews?

 Europe has once again approved the right of Israel to ensure its security measures include right to carry out genocide or extermination if necessary. For, it has asserted Israel’s right to be part of Eurovision and spread its culture to rest of the globe.

History shows how logical fallacies determine the power of Israel to redefine Genocide and acts against Humanity as security measures to protect the self-proclaimed God’s chosen ones in Israel. Unlike the general assumption of God’s Chosen ones being those who are Just, Truthful, and Humane. The Chosen ones of Israel, and the same asserted by Members of Council of Europe through their actions, are those individuals who assert the right to Kill anyone who stands in their way to build Greater Israel.

Within this context, certain historical facts about European Broadcasting Union (EBU) would be enlightening. EBU is a successor to International Broadcasting Union which was dissolved after World War II, for during the World War II, Nazi Germany had taken over International Broadcasting and therefore International Broadcasting Union was considered to be compromised and contaminated with genocidal sentiments. On November 1st 1949, a decision was taken at international level that no broadcaster from West Germany should be allowed to be a founder of a new organisation that was taking shape to replace International Broadcasting Union (IBU) and International Broadcasting Organisation (IBO) (under which East Germany members were included but not West Germany). It is after years Germany became part of EBU [1].

The new agency formed in 1950 European Broadcasting Union, made stand against Genocide of West Germany a rationale for its existence as evident from the process that led to its creation. The point of issue is, has EBU legally rewritten its stand on countries that carry out genocide? Since, ICC has ruled Israel carrying out plausible Genocide and subsequently the report by Max Planck Institute of Germany has indicated the those murdered by Israel is way beyond 100,000 [2], and yet EBU considers Israel’s participation in Euro Vision is Legal and Moral.

If its legal and moral, then the questions that remain, among naïve world population are:

1. Is it legal according EBU to commit genocide as per its new founding principles and has EBU dropped its earlier founding principles with regard to Genocide carried out by West Germany?

2. EBU is registered in Switzerland which as per its Criminal Code Article 264m, crimes against humanity are punishable and retroactive application possible if the acts were already crimes under international law.  Besides, in Switzerland under Criminal Code, Article 261 bis, the law criminalizes incitement of hatred/discrimination, spreading denial, trivialisation of justification of genocide and crimes against humanity. Yet, EBU seems above these laws.

3. Does EBU consider itself above international law and has it sanctified Genocide as long as it is carried out by Israeli Jews.

4. The above statement is not my biased perception but a statement of fact, for Israel is a member of Euro Vision as of 2017 even though Israel criminally occupies Palestine and carries of war crimes. Besides, Israel continues to be a member even after a genocide.

At the same time European Council (which decision is applicable to Switzerland and entities within it, which includes EBU) has sanctioned Venezuela, Myanmar/Burma, Centre African Republic, Somalia, Sudan, and South Sudan for Human Rights violations.

It has sanctioned Iran for its alleged nuclear programme based on narrative given out by Israel, though Israel itself has unaccounted nuclear warheads which both Europe and US have legalised through their silence and active support for Israel, and in fact US ensured Israel military ambition materialized and its military build-up continued.

4. It is natural then to assume genocide and acts against humanity carried out Israel is legal for EBU, even killing of Hind, a child stuck with dead bodies of her loved ones inside a car, with dozens of bullets by Israeli soldiers is legal and moral as by new found religious standards of Europe in line with beliefs of Israel.

5. As though to seal set privileges enjoyed by Israel with regard to EU and EBU, the Israel’s President who held Gazans collectively responsible for Hamas attack on Israel, who thinks Israel’s occupation of Palestine and abuse of Palestinians is not a crime, who acknowledges Jewish attachment to Hebron should be beyond controversies, who accuses not Israel but Hamas for using Palestinian as human shield and leading to their death [3]. This is the extent of humane calibre of Israel’s President, now he is so happy with EBU support for Israel that he said the song contest would continue to champion “Culture, music, friendship between nations” [4].

Seriously, he is talking about Israel’s culture and friendship as it commits genocide under guise of US President’s Delusional Gaza Peace Plan, for while US President claims there is peace, a father and two of his young sons were burnt alive in their tent on 3rd December 2025 [5], they among several hundred killed during the same time; in another incident Israel soldiers snipper shot and killed two young children who supposedly crossed the yellow line as they were collective wood for cooking. This yellow line is a hypothetical line which Israel has created for its different stage of Genocide, where it holds its victim Palestinians under its control with total legal approval and blessing of US, US President and also EU.

6. The best way to end this note is to repeat what Germany’s Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media, Mr. Wolfram Weimer, has to say with regard to participation of Israel in Eurovision Song Contest; “Israel belongs to the Eurovision Song Context like Germany belongs to Europe” [6].

Mr. Wolfram Weimer in light of historical facts, maybe it could be restated as “Israel belongs to Eurovision Song Context like West Germany belonged to International Broadcasting Union during World War II”.

Mr. Wolfram Weimer, then would be  Picture Perfect and reflecting new raison d’etre of European Broadcasting Union as per new found legal provisions in Switzerland and other European countries.

For justice and Humanity, Sanction Israel!
