Sanctions were meant to act at deterrence but it has been used by the US more than any other country to maintain its stronghold on nations and assert its right to impunity and ensure the international community understands the US is above the law, this has been subtle till President Trump took office this term.
Under President Trump, the only
international relations that US has practiced is to assert it is a Rogue State
and US President is asserting his right to be Rogue with legal liability. If
the international community had called his bluff, when he first invaded Iran
and dropped bombs on Nuclear facility in Iran with the claim that presence of
enriched Uranium 65 Percent meant Iran is making nuclear war heads. No one
bother to call out the blatant lie, the plan to use logical fallacy to control
international narrative, for if Iran really wanted to have nuclear warhead, it
could have just done what India, Pakistan, or North Korea did, which is to
enrich uranium in silence and let the world know upon successful testing.
Instead of appreciating the transparency offered, all that unethical and
hegemonic country the US and its mentor or follower Israel could do was to ensure
use of every means to punish Iran with
Sanctions and state that is as deterrence for an action not committed.
The world was silent, as US
invaded the country through sanction for a crime not yet committed by Iran.
Basically, US carried out war crime and no one held it accountable. It is
strange to see how moralistic the US President Trump can be, when he has proved
over and over again he can carry out mass murder (killing of fishermen or
people on small boats on international waters, for even in US when more than
three persons are killed at the same time in same instance, it is mass murder),
not just once but many time and the total number of people killed is around 75.
Yet, international community were silent?
What message does it send to
resistance or terror groups, that the current US President can be their
greatest role model though he keeps stating like a broken record player that he
will destroy terrorists with no mercy.
He is the greatest model for terrorist, for he is doing everything a
terrorist can only dream of, he can sit in his oval office and he has people to
carry out his command better than any machine. His staff ensures “double
strike” is a default measure and not an outlier. As President Trump as he sits
in his Oval office can watch live the fruits of his terror acts and no one even
reprimands him. A few protests from democrats are silenced by Republican who
are more bothered about the chair they sit on than any so-called American
values.
Look at the luxury of the US
President who has gone Rogue, as he carried out threats on international water,
he used his powers to commit war crimes in Venezuela for which he ensures the Venezuelan
government is in sufficient chaos through cyber war crimes and thereby the US
forces are able to disempower the Venezuelan military and limit its capacity to
protect Venezuelan leaders. Then the US President kidnaps the Venezuelan leader
and his wife in the middle of the night as they asleep and takes them the US to
face alleged drug charges for which there is nothing beyond allegation based on
US agents sting operation against the nephew of President Nicolas Maduro.
The US Congress smitten by fact
that the US President can use muscle power in the Western hemisphere, ignored
their duty and right under law to hold their President accountable. There is no
provision to carry out a kidnapping of a leader in another state, the statement
that US President does not consider President Madura to be legitimate leader only
indicates the fact the US President suffers from delusion and his cognitive
ability is highly questionable. It is time the globe pointed out to US Congress
and SCOTUS that their inaction is making the world at risk for war crimes and
terror acts by an unhinged American President.
Because US Congress, SCOTUS and
world were silent, the US President not only bombed nuclear facility of Iran,
again. It also carried out mass slaughter of school children in Minab, Iran.
The US government is yet to hold their President accountable, when media questioned
President Trump about it, he did not have the human decency to indicate that it
is a terrible tragic event, the leader of so-called great Democracy the US, President
Trump instead said that Iran bombed its own children and that Iran was very bad
at hitting its target.
Evidently the United States
President and the country US have gone rogue. According available literature, a
Nation can be said to have gone Rogue, when:
1.
The Nation that deliberately or illegitimately
harm their neighbours;
3.
When the Nation persists in acting unilaterally,
without the support of community of nations; it can be called a Rogue State
[1]. It is evident that many of the crimes committed by the US President was
not with approval of the US Congress, but as US Congress refuses to hold their
President accountable, it means not just the US President but the country US
has gone Rogue.
It’s time the US realised, their
country is no longer a democracy and not even a country that evokes any respect
in the eyes of most people outside the US. It is time the US Congress and
SCOTUS realised and accepted that their President has gone Rogue and in the
silence of other governance structure has ensured a process whereby the US
President uses his position of power and the unchecked scale of influence of
Presidential Executive Order to carry out war crimes and terror act on other
nations and in the process ensuring the US, the nation, has also gone Rogue.
It is time to Sanction the United
States before it creates further global harm through its Rogue acts.
Hold the US President, the US
Congress and SCOTUS accountable for breaking domestic and international law.
Otherwise stop using the term terror with regard to actions carried out by
other groups.
Rights for all or for none.
Justice for all!
